The Plan of Salvation
What is the Plan of Salvation?
The Bible says, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
The plan of salvation is God's liberation plan through Jesus Christ. It provides the way for all of mankind to be freed from the bondage of sin and its consequences. Sin separates us from God. The plan of salvation (the gospel) is the avenue to reconciliation between God and humanity.
Let's take a look at John 3:16-18!
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
